Ukraine crisis: 448 Karnataka students evacuated under Operation Ganga, 236 still stranded

Amid Russian military operation in Ukraine, Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority Commissioner Dr Manoj Rajan on March 6 informed that 448 Karnataka Students have been evacuated under Operation Ganga and 236 students are still stranded in the war-hit country. 47 batches of Karnataka students have been brought back to India under Operation Ganga. He also informed that 236 students from Karnataka are still stranded in war-hit Ukraine.

“Through Operation Ganga, we have evacuated 448 students of Karnataka origin. 47 batches from Delhi and Mumbai have reached. 12 flights have been scheduled for Tomorrow. We have another 236 students who have to be evacuated from Ukraine,” said Rajan while speaking to ANI.
